Anatychuk L.I. With reference to the history of using semiconductors in thermoelectricity
The paper analyzes the use of semiconductor materials in thermoelectric energy converters atfention is drawn to the fact that the use of semiconductors based on theoretical concepts of electron theory of solid state had been preceded by the phase of empirical investigations testifying to the efficiency of using semiconductor materials in thermoelectricity.

Luste O.J. On theory of thermoelectric microcalorimeters
A method for reproducing true time dependent thermal values from signals of thermoelectric sensors by introducing apparatus Green function has been developed. Optimal geometric dimensions of eddy spiral sensor have been established depending on conditions of heat transfer between the sensor and reaction chamber, as well as the sensor and thermostatting body. Using optimal control theory a method for matching frequency and noise sensor characteristics to recording equipment has been developed.

Anatychuk L.I., Vikhor L.N. Computer design of stage generator modules
The algorithm of computer design of stage thermoelectric generator modules is described, taking into account thermal and electric loss in ceramics and connecting plates. The influence of thermal resistances of ceramic and connecting plates and electric resistances of contacts and connecting plates on the efficiency of two-stage Bi-Te and Pb-Te module is investigated.

Letyuchenko S.D., Kopyl A.I. Stabilization of parameters of p-(Bi2Te3)0.25 (Sb2Te3)0.72 (Sb2Se3)0.03 thermoelectric materials
The reasons for degradation of ð-(Bi2Te3)0.25(Sb2Te3)0,72(Sb2Se3)0.03, thermoelectric materials grown by vertical zone melting are investigated by measuring the distribution of thermopower and electric conductivity values along the axis of ingots during isothermal annealing. It is established that the main reason for parameters degradation is the presence of microprecipitates of tellurium-rich phase when growing with excess stoichiometric tellurium. Implementation of molecular mechanism of components introduction at crystallization made it possible to considerably reduce the amount of excess tellurium and to obtain stable materials with increased figure of merit Z>3.0x10-3Ê-1. The use of such materials for the manufacture of cooling modules allowed obtaining a difference of 75K from room temperature.
