Correctness of formulation of solutions of inverse thermoelectricity problems has been studied, conditions for the existence and uniqueness of solutions of these problems have been established, general methods for finding solutions of inverse thermoelectricity problems for inhomogeneous, gyrotropic and anisotropic media have been described

Lutsyak V.S. Theoretical analysis of thermoelectric figure of merit of nernst-ettingshausen generator and cooler

Medvid A.G., Thermoelectric properties of high-strenth radiation-resistant steels in various phase-structural states
Thermoelectric coefficient of high-strength corrosion-resistant austenite steels 316SS (06H17N12M2GS), ÅP-838 (10H12G13N5MYU) and H12G20V as candidate materials for thermonuclear power engineering has been investigated in various phase-structural states formed by thermal and thermohydrogen treatments. The results of investigation have been compared to those of change in the set of such physical properties as Young's modulus, density, electric resistivity and hydrogen-diffusion characteristics (hydrogen permeability, diffusivity and solubility). The effect  of  ÅP-838 steel modification by cerium, scandium and boron on the processes of atomic ordering, origin of intermetallides and ?-phase on its thermoelectric properties has been considered. A possibility of predicting the behaviour of similar alloys under hydrogen and radiation exposures has ben analyzed on the basis of the results obtained

Gitsu D., Huber T., Nikolaeva A. Influence of dimensions on the anisotropy of transport effects in thin bismuth wires
Size change of angular diagrams structure of galvano-thermomagnetic effects in thin single crystal bismuth wires of different orientation with diameter 0.18-5 mm in the magnetic fields up to 30 kOe in the temperature range 4.2-300 K is studied. Samples of two types were measured wherein a) the primary flux of the charge carriers (current or temperature gradient) is directed along the third order axis (C3) of the crystal b) the primary flux is directed along one of bisector axes Cs or makes an angle j»19.50 with it., Peculiarities of anisotropy of even and odd transverse effects reflecting specificity of the transverse component of the charge carrier fluxes in the magnetic field are considered. The obtained experimental data are compared with the results of the phenomenological and microscopic theories for bulk crystals. Thickness dependence of transverse magnetoresistance of Bi wires at temperatures T£77 K is found. The averaged “effective” mobility meff of the charge carriers and its dependence on diameter in the temperature range 300-4.2 K are estimated, practically its linear decrease at d<5 mm at low temperatures is revealed.

Varich N.I., Lobzin D.V., Panov A.V., Smolyar G.A.Thermoelectric Generator With A Vortex Tube As A Heat Source
For independent power supply to objects of gas industry it has been proposed to use thermoelectric generator with a vortex tube converting the energy of compressed natural gas, on its pressure reduction, into thermal energy. Procedure for the calculation of parameters of thermoelectric system and vortex tube jointly providing the required electrical parameters has been developed. The results of testing generator prototype have been given.
