It is with deep sorrow that the International Thermoelectric Academy announces the untimely death of Dmitry Vasilyevich GITSU, academician, director of Institute of Electronic Engineering , academician of the Academy of Sciences of Moldova that happened on November 23, 2008 after a short illness.
The memory of this outstanding scientist and wonderful person will live on forever in the hearts of the International Thermoelectric Academy members.
We express our sincere sympathy to the family and colleagues of the deceased, to everybody who has known and remembers Dmitry Vasilyevich.
