On July 18,
The General Meeting discussed
and adopted decisions on the following issues of the agenda.
The General meeting listened to
and discussed the report by ITA President L.Anatychuk on the activity of ITA
and its governing bodies for the period under report. It was noted that the
following measures have been held on a good scientific and organizational level:
International Workshop on 14.07.2005 dedicated
to discovery of thermoelectric effects by A.Volta and establishment of a
memorial plaque on this event in “Tempio Voltiano”,
Jubilee festivities and International
Workshop “The Past, Present and Future of Thermoelectricity”, dedicated to 125-th
anniversary of A.F Ioffe in the scientist’s homeland
The General Meeting approved
